Ethical Frameworks for Social Change Workshop
Dates: April 22nd, May 6th, May 20th, June 3rd

Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how systems impact their clients, organizations, and communities, and how to uphold ethical responsibility while working within those systems. Through dialogue and reflection, participants will gain tools to identify, name, and challenge injustice within their practice and institutions.
This training is especially relevant for professionals working in public health, community-based organizations, education, civic leadership, and clinical settings, where cultural responsiveness and structural awareness are essential to ethical and effective programs and services. Participants are welcome to register for the full workshop or attend individual sessions independently.
Day 1: Foundations of Social Identity and Systems of Oppression
Build a shared foundation by exploring social identity, the web of oppression, and key concepts that support culturally responsive and justice-oriented practice.Day 2: Institutional Analysis and Ethical Frameworks
Examine how oppression and liberation operate within institutions along with creative strategies for integrating anti-oppressive and ethical approaches into clinical, community, and organizational work.Day 3: Affinity Group Engagement and Reflection
Engage in race-based affinity groups to reflect on lived experience, deepen understanding of systemic dynamics, and explore implications for ethical and justice-oriented practice.Day 4: Strategy Development and Ethical Application
Translate learning into action by developing strategies to integrate anti-oppressive frameworks into clinical, community, or organizational contexts.
PSA is a National Association of Social Workers - Colorado Chapter - Approved Continuing Education Provider (2 Ethics Continuing Education Credits can be provided per day of the workshop)
