Ethical Frameworks for Social Change Workshop
Dates: July 18 & 25, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM MT (Mountain Time)

This workshop directly supports social and cultural workers and a range of professionals in embodying the core values of the NASW Code of Ethics, including social justice, the dignity and worth of every person, and the importance of human relationships. It provides tools to identify, name, and challenge injustice.
Participants leave with a deeper understanding of how systems impact their clients, organizations, and communities, and how to hold ethical responsibility while working within those systems. The training is especially relevant for professionals working in public health, community-based organizations, educational and civic leadership roles, as well as clinical settings, where cultural responsiveness and structural awareness are essential to ethical, effective programs and services.
Day 1: Foundations of Cultural Responsiveness and Ethical Practice
Ground in shared language and frameworks that support cultural humility and justice-oriented work.
This session lays the foundation for ethical engagement in complex environments, equipping participants with tools to navigate their roles with clarity, intention, and integrity.
Day 2: Applying Ethics Through a Justice-Oriented Lens
Engage in race-based affinity groups and apply ethical frameworks to real-world dilemmas, building strategies for anti-oppressive work across sectors.
